Summer break in Gjøvik with a Skibladner dinner cruise on lake Mjøsa and 1 night hotel stay at Clarion Collection Hotell Grand.

Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake, is at the very heart of our region. From Skibladner and its restaurant, ‘1. plads madsalon', you get to experience the surrounding cultural landscape the same way travellers did 160 years ago. The crew on board 'Mjøsa's white swan' still serves salmon and strawberries, and it is perhaps the country's longest-living restaurant and menu?

You spend the night in the Clarion Collection hotel Grand in the center of Gjøvik. Check-in is from 3pm and between 3-5pm freshly baked waffles are ready for you. The hotel's location makes it easy to visit one of the many restaurants after you return from the Skibladner Tour.

PROGRAM

DAY 1

Individual arrival in Gjøvik by car or by train from Oslo. Check-in at the Clarion Collection hotel Grand from 15.00.

15.00 to 17.00 - We serve freshly baked waffles and coffee in the hotel lobby
17.30 - 20.00 Historical tour with Skibladner on Mjøsa.

Departure Skibladner from Gjøvik pier at 17.30.

The pier is a 15-minute walk from the hotel and guests should arrive 15 minutes before departure.

On board you enjoy a wonderful dinner with traditional salmon and strawberries in cream.

20.00 Back in Gjøvik, you have plenty of time to visit one of the many pubs in the pleasant town centre.

DAY 2

Good breakfast buffet and check-out by 11.00.

ATTENTION: For safety reasons, unfortunately, wheelchairs are not allowed on board, as Skibladner is a listed historic vessel and is not adapted for wheelchairs. Animals are not allowed on board with the exception of service dogs.
